Kristoffer Jul was born in Copenhagen Denmark in 1977. Kristoffer grew up in a progressive and party/alcohol part of
Copenhagen called Christians Havn. Here he heard a lot of Jazz at the local pub, also blues and rock on thursdays was a great tradition getting a lot of people out and in to the pub.
Kristoffer started pianolessions at Kim Gustav. Here he would study Beatles, ABBA and other clasics from the 70`and early 80`. I the young years Kristoffer learned to play by ear.
In his teens he wait to the countryside to study jazz. And having a lot of time he got quite familiar with the launge of jazz. At a festival in t he south of Grennland Kristoffer met with Karina Møller, a Greenlandic singer. They where soon to be working together alot with the Aaskan Band PAMYUA. Kristoffer has over the past 11 years co-produced and arranged the traditionel and modern songs for Alaskabased: PAMYUA.
